Prior to joining Rudder Capital, Brian Tyler held senior operating positions with Thomson Healthcare and Scientific as Executive Vice President for a $115M operating segment, and CFO for $600M division. Before joining the Thomson Corporation, he was a Senior Manager with Grant Thornton in New York City.

Mr. Tyler has extensive operating experience and in-depth knowledge of managing strategy and business development, improving troubled assets, and driving financial/capital transactions. Brian has completed more than 40 transactions, ranging from small tactical acquisitions to a $500 million strategic acquisition.

Mr. Tyler has served on several boards and is currently on the board of Art Miami, LLC and the South Shore Public Charter School in Norwell, Massachusetts.

He holds a BS from LeMoyne College. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
